EUL, the European University of Lefke, also known as Lefke Avrupa Üniversitesi, was founded in 1990 as a state university.
Its location plays a great role on the hills of Northern Cyprus, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and offering its students a pleasurable environment.
EUL offers high-quality education at international standards, following up with ongoing researches and improvements to its community.

As a university that originates with its Turkish language of education, the European University of Lefke teaching language programs are also available in English for most undergraduate and postgraduate studies. European University of Lefke scholarships for international students have created a path of attraction for the possibility of studying in a low tuition university that offers a high worldwide ranking.
EUL is currently offering 50% scholarships to students with nationalities other than Turkish nationalities. Having a 50% discount at EUL on undergraduate programs has widely increased the number of international students in the university. Today, the European University of Lefke offers siblings applying for undergraduate programs an extra 25% discount when applying to the university.
